Despite the ridiculous amount of record rainfall, The Bay Head House Garden is taking off and growing wild. Everthing is working and producing; 6 varieties of tomatoes, peppers, pattypan squash, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, honeydew melons, pole beans, basil, dill, jalepenos, summer squash, canteloupe and more.

The Bay Head House has booked all of August 2009 and has a few remaining weeks in July. We are beginning to take reservations for the 2010 season. Keep us in mind for Spring and Fall Weddings, Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats, Special Events, Anniversary Parties and More.

Marlin’s Cafe is a bar and restaurant on the border of Bay Head. Marlin’s has a mixed crowd of young and old and often has live music on weekends and some weekdays. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Casual atmosphere.

The Bay Head House has just booked its 9th week for the 2009 season with a few more tentative weeks being reserved. Be sure to reserve your summer vacation, wedding house, family reunion & corporate retreats  before its too late. Theresa’s South situated a block from the beach on Main Street (Route 35) in Bay Head, serving “creative italian cuisine.” Relaxed atmosphere with dining inside and out. A spin-off of the popular Theresa’s Restaurant in Westfield, NJ.  BYO Wine and Beer but Curtis Market is just next door for packaged goods. Great food. Great service.

Directions from The Bay Head House: Walk south on Club Drive (east Side entrance of House) 1.5 blocks and walk LEFT on 2nd cross walk path (make sure you’re paying attention, you can miss the turn). Walk passed tennis courts and over walking bridge. Walking bridge will bring you onto Mount Street. Walk straight to 2nd corner and Theresa’s South will be on left. Curtis Matket will be across the street for wine and beer. TOTAL TIME: 5 minute walk. Map will give you driving route.
